A tonal, all-white sculptural relief — raised branches and grass rendered in pure plasterwork, minimal and architectural.
48″ × 32″

The White Oak strips the tree motif down to pure form — raised white branches spreading across a white ground, with a fringe of textured grass at the base. Without colour to lean on, the piece works entirely through shadow and relief, changing character with the light in the room and reading almost like plasterwork or sculpture rather than a painting.
Its tonal palette makes it especially versatile, sitting comfortably in a minimalist, Scandinavian or warm neutral interior without competing with anything else on the wall.
The White Oak is part of the Tree Collection on display at our showroom, 2203 Granville Street. We'd encourage seeing it in person — the texture and the way it holds light are its character.
