A heavily textured tree in charcoal, graphite and stone white, its roots grounded and its canopy wide — a quiet, sculptural anchor for a room.
48″ × 32″

Eternal Roots renders a single tree in deep relief, its canopy built up in layers of charcoal, graphite and stone white against a soft, weathered ground. The roots spread wide and low, anchoring the composition and giving the piece its sense of permanence and quiet strength.
Worked almost entirely in raised texture rather than flat paint, the surface catches light differently through the day, drawing out subtle variation across the canopy that a photograph can only hint at. Framed and ready to hang, Eternal Roots holds its own as a single statement above a sofa, a bed, or a long hallway wall, and reads well in both warm and cool-toned interiors thanks to its restrained, monochrome palette.
Eternal Roots is part of the Tree Collection on display at our showroom, 2203 Granville Street. We'd encourage seeing it in person — the texture and the way it holds light are its character.
